I am the founder of Smooth Waters Creative Management, a creative mobile studio focused on illustration, art education, and accessible community art experiences. As a visual artist, I specialize in children’s book illustration, character design, and story-based artwork. I have illustrated more than a dozen published books and enjoy working closely with authors and individuals who want to bring their stories to life through expressive and imaginative visuals.
Alongside my illustration work, I offer a wide range of art workshops and creative classes for children, teens, adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. I have years of experience teaching structured art lessons in schools, designing themed creative programs, and leading community workshops through studios, schools, and senior centers. My classes include drawing, painting, clay, mixed media, and creative wellbeing sessions designed to build confidence and spark creative joy.
My teaching style is warm, patient, and highly accessible, with a focus on helping people enjoy the process of creating, no matter their age or ability. Whether guiding a hands-on workshop or illustrating a story for publication, my goal through Smooth Waters is to encourage imagination, connection, and the belief that everyone can create something meaningful.
