Beginning my professional photography career in Coral Gables as a newspaper photographer, I subsequently received my BFA degree in Photography, taught Photojournalism at the Art Institute of Atlanta, was a U.S. Army Photographer, and for 18 years was a creative director for an Atlanta ad agency. I had a second career as a Foreign Service officer and during this diplomatic service with the U.S. State Department from 2010 to 2022, I was still able to take photographs and exhibit in the Middle East and Latin America. My primary goal is to reduce suffering the world, primarily through demonstrating our common humanity via my keystone fine arts photo series, “The Human Pulse”: www.thehumanpulse.com.
