Melissa Rudge (KatrinFace Art) was born and raised in central Virginia. She attended Radford University, where she attained her Art Education degree. After teaching art for a couple years, she joined the Peace Corps. Melissa served as an art educator in Ghana, West Africa where she advocated for gender equality and HIV awareness. After her service ended, she moved to Orlando, where she went back to teaching elementary art for several years. Melissa is currently working as a Healing Arts Specialist for a local hospital. She enjoys manipulating colors to create surreal and humorous artwork.
