Samantha Dunne

Samantha Dunne is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Orlando, Florida. Formally trained in Fine Art and Sustainable Design, Samantha’s work crosses boundaries, exploring the intersection of nature, architecture, and sustainability. Samantha toggles between two-dimensional artwork and eco-conscious interior design, her work highlighting the connection humans have to the Earth. Her 2D work uses natural pigments and mixed media to render her subject matter vividly and energetically onto non-traditional art surfaces. She explores how the beauty of natural and built environments can inspire climate optimism and uses these subjects to illustrate her vision of the world we can create. In addition to artmaking, Samantha is passionate about designing green and healthy homes. Whether in teaching, advising, or renovating, Samatha utilizes innovative sustainable building materials that prioritize biophilia and neuroaesthetics to optimize the wellbeing of both humans and the environment. In addition to her studio work, Samantha is involved with the community, participating in public art projects, and teaching online Art and Interior Design at the University of Nebraska – Omaha. She received her bachelor’s in Art and Global Culture from Edgewood College, and her master’s in Sustainable Design from the University of Sydney. Samantha’s mission is to create a positive impact in her community by fighting climate change with soulful art and sustainable dwellings.
