KALUOHS is not new to the Orlando art scene. Starting with recycled cosplay props and live-streaming bodypainting on Twitch, it all starts with a paint brush and an idea.
Creatively supporting her community, KALUOHS has completed a number of private commissions to bring people’s visions to life as well as brightening our public spaces with murals and a painted electric box (in the Milk District).
From murals to makeup, crafts to canvases, this multi-disciplinary artist does a little of everything. With a background in public speaking, they’re even comfortable talking to an audience about their work and life. She’s even appeared in a video with Delta Airlines + Atlas Obscura as an Orlando Tour Guide.
There aren’t many projects that KALUOHS turns down, but when an opportunity is better suited for someone else in her network, she’s quick to pass the gig or bid along.
More than anything, it’s fun to see the variety of requests people want to have, whether it’s a gift for a cancer survivor, accessories for a facial hair competition, a painted planter for friends / family, or wall decor to level up your living or work space.
