Silvia Huddleston

​I’m professional folkloric dance teacher and performer originally from Lima, Peru, graduated from the National School José María Arguedas in Lima, specialized in folkloric arts. Throughout my career, I had showcased Peruvian dance on international stages, including performances in Greece, France, Russia, Belgium, and during the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games in South Korea.

I’m a founder of Raymi Dance School, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting Peruvian culture through dance, music, theater, and other cultural expressions. As school’s artistic director, I committed to creating a positive learning environment that fosters cultural inclusion and raises awareness of Peru’s diverse regional histories and traditions.
