Holocaust Center

Holocaust education is not simply about studying the past. It is about shaping a brighter future. Long before the Final Solution, the Nazis and their collaborators used language to insult, demean, isolate and dehumanize their victims. The Holocaust Center inspires visitors to realize that they have the ability to make a difference for good; to be a positive influence in the lives of others, and while doing so, to improve and enrich their community.
Established in 1982, The Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida is one of the nation’s oldest institutions of its kind. Its mission is dedicated to combating anti-Semitism, racism and prejudice with the ultimate goal of developing a moral and just community through its extensive outreach of educational and cultural programs. Using the lessons of the Holocaust as a tool, the Center teaches the principles of good citizenship to thousands of people of all ages, religions and backgrounds each year.
